Yoga's importance is like "salt in life": PM

Lucknow, Jun 21:Yoga has same importance as "salt" has in life, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said here today and maintained that yoga can act as a great unifying factor and has lately given a boost to India's global reach too.Yoga has gained popularity among various countries across the globe, he said.
"It is due to yoga the world has started getting associated with India in a new manner and with renewed respect and enthusiasm," Modi said while beginning the third edition of the International Day for Yoga."Today, yoga has become a part of so many lives.Yoga's popularity outside India is high and has connected the world with India," he said.Modi performed Yoga postures at Ramabai Ambedkar Ground sitting with more than 55,000 people.  

UBER CEO RESIGNS..

Travis Kalanick has resigned as the chief executive of Uber, the ride-hailing startup he co-founded and turned into a global tech giant.Kalanick already announced last week that he was going on an indefinite leave of absencefollowing the death of his mother in a boating accident. But the move failed to defuse a growing crisis over his leadership and demands from investors that he resign from the $68 billion startup. "I love Uber more than anything in the world and at this difficult moment in my personal life I have accepted the investors request to step aside so that Uber can go back to building rather than be distracted with another fight," Kalanick said in a statement ,uaccording to an Uber spokesperson.
